Annie Liu is a professor of computer science at Stony Brook University. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. Cornell University, M.Eng. in Tsinghua University and B.S. of Peking University all in Computer Science. Annie Liu is a recipient of the Best Student Paper Award 14th International Symposium on Stabilization Safety and Security of Distributed Systems as well as the State University of New York the Chancellor's Award of Excellence for Scholarship & Creative activities. Annie Liu is a Taiwanese and Hong Kong actress. Liu has studied design for products at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design located in Vancouver British Columbia Canada but quit the university in her second year to make a go of acting.
