Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics coach who later became her coach later in life, discovered her at age six. The year 1969 was the first time she participated in the Romanian Junior Championships where she placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In 1972, at a meet of communist countries juniors before the Olympics, she took home three medals of gold. In 1973 and '74 she was the all-around junior champ. In her debut as a Senior in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four gold medals and one silver. She became the first female to do a reverse double salo on the uneven parallel bar after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens, she began performing in touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her career in entertainment when she was in her teens. As a young girl she was the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. The shows featured ice skating that included theatrical performances.
